About the newspaper that the Grade 4 students wrote about the school life at HORIZON last month, I sent them to neighbor Public Elementary school as I informed before.
This month, they enjoyed listening Japanese old tale “Furuya no
mori”.
The
main story of this month was “Hitotsu no hana”. It is a story about a girl when
Japan was in war. It’s really sad, but they had a good chance to think about
the war and peace.
And
then they learned how to express their own opinions and
ideas in sentences at
the unit “Jibun no kanngae o tsutaeruniwa”.
