Language Arts
Fiction Writing – Explanations
For two weeks, we will be working on explanation texts. Students will be writing an explanation text to show their learning about elections and government.
Novel Study – Student Choice
Students are currently reading the novel they picked. Each student is reading a different novel and they have to read around 1/6th of the book every week. They calculated how many pages/chapters they have to read every week.

They have to complete a novel study booklet by the end of the unit. They should work through it at their own pace.
