Hello Grade 4 parents!
This is the first weekly review of the school year. The schedule for this week was a little different so the review will be a little different as well. Of course, we spent time on icebreakers and activities introducing rules and routines.

Routines include:
·         Reading Log
·         Homework Planner
·         Organization – Folders and Binders
·         Action Cycle
·         Using Kindles for Raz-Kids
·         Seesaw Work every week
·         Seesaw Reflection Video every week
For the first week, the students did a wonderful job!

Reading
For our first week, we simply used Raz-Kids to see how much we improved over the summer break. It might take a little more time to figure out the students’ exact levels. I am encouraging students to read at home as well and tell me if the books are too easy or too hard.
Writing
They had to write a journal about the summer break. This journal will not be marked as it is their first journal.

We also reviewed how to properly edit a piece of writing. The editing marks can be found in their writing books.
Show and Tell
Students also did show and tell on Friday! Thank you to the parents for the support.

PYP Review
We did a lot of activities reviewing the PYP and working on character education.
