Hello Grade 4 parents!
This is the first weekly review of the school year. The schedule for
this week was a little different so the review will be a little different as
well. Of course, we spent time on icebreakers and activities introducing
rules and routines.
Routines include:
·
Reading Log
·
Homework Planner
·
Organization – Folders and Binders
·
Action Cycle
·
Using Kindles for Raz-Kids
·
Seesaw Work every week
·
Seesaw Reflection Video every week

Reading
|
For our first week, we simply used
Raz-Kids to see how much we improved over the summer break. It might take a
little more time to figure out the students’ exact levels. I am encouraging
students to read at home as well and tell me if the books are too easy or too
hard.
|
Writing
|
They had to
write a journal about the summer break. This journal will not be marked as it
is their first journal.
We also reviewed
how to properly edit a piece of writing. The editing marks can be found in
their writing books.
|
Show and Tell
|
Students also did show and tell on
Friday! Thank you to the parents for the support.
